Law Society of Northern Ireland was established in 1922 when a Royal Charter was granted to solicitors in Northern Ireland to permit the setting up of the Incorporated Law Society of Northern Ireland.
The European Young Bar Association
The European Young Bar Association (EYBA) is a non-profit making, multinational young lawyers association founded on 23rd May 1993 in Prague. The group now represents the interests of over 200,000 young lawyers and is the world’s largest young lawyers group.
The Northern Ireland Young Solicitors Association
The Northern Ireland Young Solicitors’ Association was set up in 1984 by Harr Coll, the then President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland. He felt that a formal grouping of young solicitors could help bridge the generation gap with the Law Society.
